About Me

Hi! I’m Riva, a musician and performer based in North London.

I read for a BMus Music at the University of Birmingham and studied a broad range of musicological subjects alongside vocal performance in association with the Birmingham Conservatoire and Centre for Early Music Performance and Research.

After my undergraduate studies I went on to gain a first class Master’s degree in Musical Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting and starred as Carrie in ‘Carrie: The Musical’ at the Ivy Arts Centre.

I joined the cast of ‘Evita’, which was coming out of the Phoenix Theatre (West End) at the time, as a member of the ensemble and understudy Mistress, touring nationally and internationally for over a year. Since then I have performed in various productions, most recently ‘Ainadamar’ with the Welsh National Opera. Other credits include: ‘Ainadamar’ (Scottish Opera), ‘Magical Christmas Adventure (Four Kingdoms), ‘Handmaid’s Panto’ (Mother’s Best Child), ‘Spilt Milk’ (The Other Palace), and ‘Fabulous 50: Half a Century of Musicals and Memories’ (Yvonne Arnaud). I sing with the London Symphony Chorus and enjoy regular engagements with the Barbican and BBC Proms.

I would love to hear from you if you are excited to learn more about music or performance. If my packages don’t suit your requirements, no problem - get in touch and we can work something out.
